When this came out I heard lots of stories about the electronics not working properly so it put me off for a while but I finally pulled the plug on one and its a very cool guitar. For someone who is into vintage over new guitars, its nice to have a new firebird 1 endorsed by a vintage guitar geek. For a single pickup guitar you can get more sounds out of it than say a Junior, when you roll back the tone you can get a nice mellow humbucker sound but if you want to crank it and rip some crunchy blues its more than happy there.

The banjo tuners make this guitar a lot cooler to look at but they make it extremely top heavy so its very unbalanced to hold.

In the end its essentially a Firebird 1 for a tenth of the price.
